Short Stories

Every year, I write a Christmas-themed story as a gift to my readers. Here’s the list so far:

The Boat Beggars
Eve of Cooperation
Christmas Lost and Found
O Little Town of Brenton
The Lamb Cove Promise
A Christmas Kayak

I’ve also written a few short stories based on Cooperation Island as gifts to my blog subscribers.

No Muse is an Island

Kids’ Stories

As an author, I’ve received many invitations to classrooms. A teacher once told me that the most popular person in the school is the one the kids see the least often, so they cut me a lot of slack when I drop in for a few hours.

One of my favorite ways to get those hours to fly by is to create tales as an interactive group, based on the character of Oliver. Previous stories were lost to all but our memories, but thanks to a few anonymous scribes, the ones below have been saved for posterity. Enjoy!

And here’s a story called Sam and the Swamp Rats. I wrote it for my nephew, back when he looked like this:

Sam and Dad

Thanks for being here!
